Lee Jun-seok is a young South Korean politician who served as a party leader of a conservative ruling party(People Power Party, 국민의힘), who heavily contributed in his party consecutively winning recent major elections held in South Korea. He actively supports meritocracy, introducing an exam which became a prerequisite for its party member to be nominated, and asserts for the removal of quotas. He also actively dissented so called 'radical feminism', which made a lot of young male voters(이대남) support him, while also making many young female voters(이대녀) dislike him.
Being the first party leader to be elected in 30s in the history of South Korean politics, his provocative remarks on various issues and fierce conflict with incumbent president Yoon Seok-yeol lead to ongoing political controversies and made quite a lot of opponents both inside and outside of poltical arena.
